Did you know that in 1 minute snorkeling at Isla Mujeres or in other (healthy) reefs you can see more wildlife than in 24 hours in the jungle? The Riviera Maya is home to the second largest coral reef in the world: the Meso American Barrier Reef, which stretches for 625 miles (1,000 kms) from Isla Contoy at the northern tip of the Yucatán Peninsula down to Honduras in the south. The reef is home to more than 60 species of coral, 350 species of mollusk, several marine mammals like dolphins and manatees, four types of sea turtles, and more than 500 species of fish.

We can help you with that! Let us take you to the island of Isla Mujeres, which has some of the most beautiful reefs of the Riviera Maya. We'll get there in a boat from Cancun, and along the way we make a number of stops to go snorkeling among the colorful and sometimes curious fish. At sea every day is different so we never know what we'll find, but with our trained eyes we'll do our best to show you a variety of animals living there: fishes, (sting)rays, different types of coral, sea urchins, squids, barracudas, and maybe even sea turtles!

After snorkeling we drop anchor in front of Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. After some relaxing time and a drink we take you to a typical local restaurant on the island, where our captain personally prepares a delicious lunch of typical Mayan style fresh grilled fish.

Would you rather not be out all day for an excursion, but still want to see something of the underwater world? Then our half day snorkeling trip in the beautiful coral reef of Puerto Morelos might be for you. This area is home to one of the best protected reefs on the Riviera Maya. There are a few shallower coral reefs that are not only great for snorkeling, but are also full of life. We'll snorkel in two different spots for 45 minutes each.
