Diving the Underwater Museum Isla Mujeres

Enjoy something truly amazing: the MUSA Underwater Museum! The idea behind this eco-project was to conserve the area by creating an artificial reef featuring sculptures made from marine concrete. Now there are more than 470 life sized statues and sculptures, the most famous one being a Volkswagen Beetle.

Being a shallow area, we love taking beginner divers and students to the MUSA, but it is also a wonderful place for the more advanced diver, as the statues that are overgrown with corals and with lots of marine life make for quite a unique and interesting dive.

Our second dive is at the Manchones reef, a beautiful and colorful shallow reef, that is full of life.
